Local afro beat star Mico The best real name Prosper Turatsize confessed that he feels weird, lost and a shamed when he listens to some of the songs he first produced when he was still trying to be a musician.
The Akabizu hit maker is currently one of the best Afro beat musicians across the country and he has managed to work with regional superstars like Diamond Platnumz.
Speaking on his new track dubbed Jamais, Mico The Best revealed that he feels small when he abruptly listens to some of his first audios.
“Artists feel great about their first songs but to me, I feel small or crying when I listen to my earliest songs because it wasn’t music to me but something like it,” acknowledged Mico.
He added, “The truth is I started music just for my pleasure but later I learnt that it’s a serious business. That’s when I changed my ways of doing music and taking it serious,” he said during KT Radio’s Dunda host.
Mico The Best started his music career in Super Level record label which was owned by Urban Boyz where he produced some of his hit songs like Umutaka.
This year Mico signed a contract with established recording label called KIKAS famous for upbringing fresh talents across the country.
Through Kikas music, Mico plans to work with Zambian superstar B flow and other regional artists from Uganda and Tanzania.
