The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has released the seeding pots for the drawing ceremony of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN 2018) tournament scheduled for Friday in Rabat, Morocco.
Rwanda is in pot three alongside fellow CECAFA members Uganda and Sudan as well as Congo.
Pot one has the host nation Morocco, Angola, Cote D’Ivoire and Libya.
Three West African countries Cameroon, Guinea and Nigeria are in pot 2 with Zambia.
Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Mauritania and Namibia complete the countries in pot 4.
The final draws to determine the groups will be held on Friday at Sofitel Hotel in the Moroccan capital of Rabat.
It will bring together 16 national teams composed exclusively of players playing in the national championships of their respective countries.
The tournament is scheduled for 12th January to 4 February 2018.
