DR Cheikh Sarr, the team coach
The national basketball team head coach DR Cheikh Sarr has summoned the local players squad ahead of FIBA World Cup qualifiers scheduled to take place from February 25-27, in Dakar, Senegal.
The trainings are expected to start from January 15 at Amahoro indoors stadium in Remera, Kigali, as Foreign players are to be summoned on January 31 for them to join the boot camp on February 1, 2022.

Rwanda was placed in Group B of the qualifiers alongside South Sudan, Cameroon and Tunisia.
