I Dropped Out of School to Chase My Dream Career-Rapper Riderman

Hip hop star Emery Gatsinzi famous on stage as Riderman revealed that he dropped out of university to continue with music which he believes it’s his dream career and calling.

The rapper quit studies at university where he was pursuing marketing and tourism at ULK University in second year.

While appearing at KT Radio live, Riderman was asked whether he graduated and how he relates music with what he studied.

“I did not graduate as people think but I just dropped from university in second year to give much time my music career because I realized it’s my full time job,” says Riderman.

The singer dropped out of school in 2013.

“I was pursuing market and tourism and remember even coming here to the radio station to premier my song, its market,” he said.

Riderman joined music industry in early 2006 together with M.I.M, Nec G the general real names Ngenzi Serge who formed the group and later invited Riderman.

The Kadage singer is one of the best-selling artists in country working with big companies like MTN and he is also planning to launch a new album in December this year.

He also scooped popular music competition known as Primus Guma Guma Super star and since starting his solo career in 2007 he has been having sold out concerts, not a single flopped show under his belt.

Riderman boosts of songs like Ziramoka, Inyuguti and many more collabos including Nta Kibazo with Urban Boyz and his latest song dubbed Nta Mvura Idahita.
