The Andela Learning Community (ALC 4.0) in partnership with Google and Pluralsight is back.

The partners are offering scholarships for people who want to learn software engineering, starting 15 May 2019.

Google and Pluralsight are companies that share Andela’s commitment to scale technology talent and learning across Africa.

“We’re happy to partner with them. ALC 4.0 will bring Andela closer to achieving its bold mission of training 100,000 software engineers across Africa in 10 years,” writes Andela’s officials.

The Andela Learning Community is open to everyone interested in acquiring technical skills, regardless of their educational background.

For this current track, participants will be advancing their skills in Web development, Android development and Google Cloud technologies on Pluralsight.

Learners who successfully complete the Google Scholarship Certification Program have the opportunity to go a step further to take a Google Certification exam, thereby certifying their competence and job readiness.

Apply to the Android ,Web track or Cloud track as a Beginner or Intermediate Learner. If accepted, you will be placed into one of those three tracks based on your experience level.

Only learners that show commitment by engaging with the course material will be selected for the scholarship.

For qualification, an applicant should have a minimum 18years of age.

However, there is no programming experience required.

Top students will be selected to join the Nanodegree program.
