Phew: Rwanda Made It! First Satellite Launched to Connect Remote Schools to the Internet

It was history made on Friday night, February 27, as Rwanda launched the first ever Satellite in its skies to connect schools with internet across its remote parts of the country.

At exactly 23:37 (local time), Rwandans waited with excitement as the Satellite was launched live on state broadcaster – Rwanda Television.
