Africa’s finest dancehall star Patoranking and songstress Simi are jetting in to Kigali to wrap up 2018 with Rwandan fans in the New Year Count Down concert December 31, 2018.
The two Nigeria’s finest are set to touch down at Kanombe International airport this Sunday and get prepared for the show on Monday together with Rwandan artists like King James, Charly na Nina and Bruce Melody.
The concert, second after the inaugural one in 2017 is becoming outstanding in Rwanda. Last year, it was graced by Yemi Alade and Kenya’s superstar band Sauti Sol as Rwandese counted minutes from 2017 to 2018 dancing to music as well as witnessing beautiful fireworks above the convention center.
Before the artists step on stage, local celebrated deejays like Toxxyk, Miller, Wax and famous Ghanaian modern dancer called Incredible Zigi will show what they do best.
Entrance to the concert is Rwf 20,000 in regular places and Rwf 40,000 in VIP lounge.
Patoranking real names Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie is famous in Rwanda for his songs like Daniella Wine, Suh Different and Girlie O featuring Tiwa Savage.
Imisola Bolatito Ogunleye 30, professionally known and referred to as Simi, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.
Simi started her career as a gospel singer releasing her debut studio album in 2008 titled Ogaju.
In Rwanda, she is famous for her single dubbed Joromi.
