Regis Rugemanshuro, the new BK Executive committee member
Bank of Kigali (BK Group Plc) has added Regis Rugemancuro to its executive team in a move the bank says is in in line with its continues growth.
Rugemanshuro who elevated to the lender’s top management team, was also appointed Chief Digital Officer.
He joins 6 other members of the company’s executive committee.
“I am happy that we have appointed Regis as Chief Digital Officer. He is a first-class business leader with the experience, drive and intellect required to drive digital transformation,” Said Dr. Diane Karusisi – the bank’s Chief Executive Officer during a press conference on Wednesday.
Dr. Karusisi also announced that in the same spirit, “we are pleased to announce the appointment of Claude Munyangabo to take charge of BK TecHouse from Regis as Managing Director.”
“Claude understands of the role technology plays in the business and community and its potential to make a positive impact, coupled with his achievements in Business Development, make him an ideal choice for our Tech subsidiary,” Karusisi told journalists at the Bank’s headquarters in the capital Kigali.
Rugemanshuro the as the 7th member of Bank of Kigali PLC executive committee made of: Dr. Diane Karusisi (Chief Executive Officer), Desire Rumanyika (Chief of Operations); Flora Nsinga – Chief Human Resource and Administration Officer, Nathalie Mpaka who is the Chief Finance Officer, Vincent Gatete – Chief Commercial Officer and Eddy Kayihura Chief IT Officer.
On October 18, the lender which is listed on Rwanda Stock Exchange,won rights from Rwanda capital market Authority to raise additional Rwf60 billion capital from its existing shareholders by giving them chance to buy more shares.
With the rights, the Bank will issue Rwf 222.2 million new shares at Rw270 per share.
