2017 A-Level Exams Results out Tomorrow

Much awaited results for 2017 A-level National Examinations will be released tomorrow– February 23rd, the Ministry of Education has said.

“MINEDUC would like to inform the Public that publication of 2017 exam results for S6 , TTCs & TVET is due tomorrow ( Feb 23rd 2018 at 3pm),” Mineduc Twitter page reads.

In 2017 academic year, 44,037 candidates including 23, 536 females and 20,501 male sat for the secondary school leaving examinations (A’ Level).

In the previous year, 41,240 candidates had sat for national exams in general education and 89.5% passed including 57.5% girls and 42.5% boys.

While girls outshined boys in numbers, male candidates lead the list of best students, across the 15 combinations of general education.

In Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), 21,935 including 9,998 girls sat the national exams.

The number declined compared to the previous year where, 24,074 candidates who sat for TVET exams.
