As RwandAir continues to spread its wings across the globe, the carrier requires a highly skilled team to keep the fleet in good airworthy condition. RwandAir now operates 26 destinations.
On Saturday, 10 Rwandan trainees graduated with specialised technical skills in aircraft maintenance. They completed training from Ethiopian Aviation Academy which offers the highest industry standard maintenance technicians training.
Aircraft maintenance engineers and technicians keep aircraft in working order through maintenance, repairs and inspections.
According to the Ethiopian Aircraft Maintenance Technician School, the graduates have been equipped with skills including; aviation maintenance, avionics component maintenance, airframe, aircraft structure maintenance, aircraft cabin maintenance, mechanical component maintenance.
The Ethiopian aviation academy is accredited by Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA), African Airlines Association (AFRAA) and African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC).
