The Kenyan talented young Acro-Dancer, Wendy Waeni 12, is among a large number of people who followed closely presidential polls in Rwanda, and as a matter of fact, she did not hesitate to show her satisfaction with the outcome.
“Congratulations Mr President @paulkagame. Looking forward to see you soon.#RwandaDecides,” Waeni wrote on her tweeter with 5,874 tweets and 5,364 followers a couple of hours after publication of provisional results.
Waeni was part of a list that sent earliest messages of congratulations to Paul Kagame who won presidential polls with 98.63%. Other messages came from Tanzanian President John Pombe Joseph Magufuli , Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya, and Mohamed VI King of Morocco, all pledging continued collaboration with Rwanda.
If Waeni’s request is considered, this will be her second encounter with Kagame.
