Catholic priest-turned politician Fr. Thomas Nahimana did not board plane bound for Rwanda – contrary to his earlier statement, KT Press exclusively reports.
Nahimana had announced that he would travel by KLM flight KL 537 from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (Netherlands) direct flight to Kigali to arrive 19h20. But the early morning flight left without him.
Instead, Nahimana was seen this morning at Zaventem Airport in Brussels (Belgium). However, flight data shows he did not board SN Brussels flight headed to Kigali via Nairobi Kenya.
That flight could have pitted well with time of his announced arrival.
Contrary to his previous travel on November 23 when updates were posted regular on his Facebook pages throughout the day, there has not been any related to the travel as of press time.
Nahimana says he wants to return to Rwanda to register his political grouping ISHEMA in preparation for the August 4, 2017 presidential polls.
He faces criminal proceedings in relation to genocide negationist comments he has made over the years.
