King Faisal Hospital- Rwanda
King Faisal Hospital- Rwanda’s referral Hospital has introduced the first ever Plastic Surgery Services in the country.
According to a communique released by the hospital on Thursday, the new product will be conducted by a team of specialists in plastic surgery led by a Rwanda-Dr. Charles Furaha.
The Cosmetic surgery also known as Esthetic surgery services will be conducted four times freely starting from Saturday this month to 8th next month.
Only 15 patients will be operated on Saturdays for the services which include Abdominoplasty (Tummy tuck), Liposuction; Breast reduction, Mastopexy (Breast lift), Breast augmentation, Gynecomastia correction (male breast reduction) and Otoplasty, among others.
The first ever plastic surgery services introduced in Rwanda comes after Oshens Group- an international health services company reached a €21 million deal with Rwanda government to upgrade King Faisal Hospital to international standards.
Alexis Lifschtz the Vice President of Sphera Global Health Care that represented Oshens Group at the purchase event in April this year told KT Press, “We need Rwandans to trust us for the better since this is the beginning of our journey here.”
