Mugiraneza, CEO Rwanda Energy Group Ltd
Police on Wednesday released Jean Bosco Mugiraneza, the Chief Executive Officer of Rwanda Energy Group Ltd after less than 48 hours in detention.
Mugiraneza was arrested yesterday, for refusal to cooperate with the Office of Ombudsman which is investigating unlawful recruitment procedures within the institution he heads.
The release comes after Mugiraneza agreed to cooperate with the investigaton and accepted to share vital documents he had said he would not share with the Office of Ombudsman.
“He is released and is ready to cooperate,” confirmed Jean Pierre Nkurunziza, the spokesperson of Office of the Ombudsman.
