Imihigo Districts performance
President Paul Kagame has presided over the performance contract exercise-Imihigo where mayors of the 30 districts present a report on what they achieved in a year and pledge what they will achieve in the coming year.
Rwamagana district in the Eastern province for the second time consecutive has outshined the districts, followed by Gasabo and Rulindo in city of Kigali and Northern province respectively.
Mayor Mbonyumuvunyi Rajab holds the award of best performing district. His Rwamagana district emerged best performing for the second time
Gasabo improves from the 9th position while Rulindo comes from the bottom of the list(29th) to occupy the third position.
